In a further effort to minimize our environmental impact we have taken up the offer from our energy supplier to switch to green power. This is a simple, yet effective way of reducing our carbon footprint.

2007 RAIA NATIONAL AWARDS- 2008-01-09

Following its success in the RAIA Victorian Chapter Awards, 1010 LaTrobe Street has received a Commercial Architecture Commendation at the 2007 RAIA National Awards held in October in Alice Springs.

Since the completion of this project in December last year, 1010 LaTrobe Street has not only received two highly acclaimed architecture awards and been published internationally, it is also the first building in Docklands to receive a 5 Star Green Star Certified rating of ‘Australian Excellence’ from the Green Building Council of Australia.

PERTH OFFICE EXPANSION- 2008-01-09

ARM services in Perth are in higher demand following our success in winning the Mounts Bay masterplanning project and our continued work on Perth Arena in conjunction with Cameron Chisolm and Nicol. As a result we are proud to announce the expansion of our Perth office to four employees with the recent appointment to our team of West Australian architect, Matthew Stack. Matt recently returned from 4 years working in London and is enjoying reacquainting himself with the architectural scene in Perth.

GREENFLEET- 2008-01-09

ARM has joined Greenfleet’s carbon offset program to significantly reduce the effect of our company’s greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to a ‘greener’ future. All company air travel mileage and motor vehicle usage is being offset by appropriate financial contributions.

Greenfleet is a not for profit organization, planting native forests to neutralize greenhouse gas emissions and promoting fuel effiecient technologies and low carbon fuels. The program permanently puts habitat back into the Australian landscape after over 200 years of land clearing where the vast majority of our unique woodlands have been lost.
