Perth arena transformed into ice-hockey rink

Perth Arena’s main court was covered in ice last weekend as Canada and the US met for the opening two games of the International Ice Hockey series. More than 2,500 litres of water was used for the frozen surface, with the arena taking three full days to construct.

 

 
               
 
Perth Arena, wins Best of State at Australian Interior Design Awards

ARM Architecture is delighted to announce that Perth Arena was awarded Best of State in the Commercial Design category at the Australian Interior Design Awards presentation ceremony in Sydney last Friday 16th May. The striking 15,000 seat arena, complete with retractable roof, was completed in 2012 by Joint Venture Partners ARM Architecture and Cameron Chisholm Nicol.
