Tony Allen joined ARM in 2004 following over 25 years of experience on some of Australia’s highest-profile jobs. He has been a Director since 2007. Prior to his appointment at ARM Tony worked with ARM and NH Architecture as Project Director of the Melbourne Central Redevelopment in 2003 / 2005.

Tony completed his B Arch studies in 1978 at the University of NSW and commenced his career with AMW Architects in Sydney. He was appointed a director of AMW in 1989, and subsequently moved to Melbourne to establish an office to undertake the State Library of Victoria redevelopment project. Tony was appointed by Lab and Bates Smart joint venture architects in 1998 as Project Director for the Federation Square project. Tony spent the next 5 years managing the office of 60 architects delivering the design and documentation for this high profile $450 million project.

Tony’s project management skills have been utilised in his role as Project Director on several ARM projecs. Much of his time currently is spent on a broad range of practice management issues.
