Neil Masterton is an architect with considerable experience in urban design practice and theory. His Masters of Design focused on aspects of urban design and contemporary Australian culture. Neil has made significant contributions to the design and development of numerous projects within the firm, with a major focus on sites with sensitive existing conditions, including heritage, complex infrastructural issues and major urban contexts. Some of Neil’s major project design experience includes the National Museum of Australia, the Shrine of Remembrance, the redevelopment of Melbourne Central and the MRC/MTC project, which includes a 1000 seat recital hall and a 500 seat drama theatre. Neil is currently working on various urban design & urban renewal projects in Melbourne & interstate including the redevelopment of the Victorian Arts Centre. |
