Digital Harbour “...will make a massive contribution to the future growth and vitality, not only of Melbourne but of our entire nation”

Former Prime Minister,
the Hon. John Howard

ARM are proud to be associated with the masterplanning of Digital Harbour at the Melbourne Docklands Commonwealth Technology Port.

Covering 4.4 hectares between Docklands Stadium and the waterfront, represents a technology-based community, incorporating facilities for education, training, research, development and enterprise sectors. ARM have been involved with the precinct since the conception of the winning bid for the $300m Commonwealth Technology Port precinct in 1999. We have led the masterplanning design team since that time.
The precinct master plan is for the development of up to 200,000 m² of commercial, residential/office and retail space.

The first two buildings within the masterplan to be constructed are the Innovation Building and 1010 Latrobe Street. The vision for Digital Harbour is a fully integrated digital community, part of Melbourne’s CBD, which will serve as an international showcase for leading-edge technologies – a community of embryonic and established technology enterprises, of research-based and educational institutions, of small and large organisations, all collaborating together.
