Momentum is an urbane 7 storey residential building with a deep visual texture and a crafted lithographic facade. |

It includes a variety of apartment types from 1 bedroom apartments to 3 bedroom, 2 storey, penthouses encouraging a diverse community to take advantage of nearby amenities including Albert Park Lake, public transport, and the popular commercial strip on Clarendon Street. Instead of the now ubiquitous mute minimalized blocks generalising our city, we are framing an identity for this building in the city. We have identified the movement of the athlete for Momentum, expressed through Muybridge’s stroboscopic imagery of the long jump. This is deployed in a labyrinthine element — a lyrical frieze— recalling classical art and architecture. The building is classical and dynamic, exclusive and urban, tough and delicate.
